How to Draw a Rose

As you learn to draw, you’ll see that everything is broken down into basic shapes. We will begin all our drawings that way to make it easy! Learn to draw this rose by starting with a simple swirl. By simply angling the lines in towards the stem, one will soon discover the simplicity of the rose. There’s lots of graphics and pictures throughout that make it fun and easy to follow. Enjoy the lesson at the end on good coloring by applying shading! The shading tutorial will guide you through light, medium and darker tones, creating pictures that pop off the page! Try and use three shades of pink or red to create great shading and roses that have depth and dimension.
