Dripping Rainbow; A Lesson on Shading and Font Transfer
This is a dripping rainbow art project that uses colored pencils. This is a great lesson for blending colored pencils (pencil crayons for my commonwealth friends) and learning how to transfer fonts in an inexpensive way. At the end, add a cute quote, "Love is the Key to the Problems of the World" or "Love Comes in Different Colors". Create great fonts by either transferring the font with graphite paper or creating your own graphite (lead) transfer. This project is good for kids 5 years and up. If a little one is watching, I encourage you to play them the video with audio. Visit www.tupperberry.com to download quotes in different fonts that can be used with this project. If you want a different quote, apply the same method and find what fits your style!
