How to Draw a Leprechaun

St. Patrick’s Day Activities for Kids

Leprechauns, rainbows and gold oh my! I feel like St. Patrick’s Day is an underrated holiday for kids! There’s so much fun that can be had for kids! From the wild and crazy antics of leprechauns everywhere  to the beautiful rainbows and let’s not forget the gold - let’s shower them with gold - I prefer the chocolate kind, but any will do!

Kids make leprechaun traps and search for a rainbow for a pot of gold!  They can also draw lots of fun stuff for St. Patrick’s Day - it’s not just about getting pinched for not wearing green! Tupperberry helps to bring St. Patrick’s Day alive in all of its glory with some excellent videos on how to draw.

Don’t just try and trap a precocious leprechaun this St. Patrick’s Day, draw one! In this video, join St. Kimberly as she helps us draw our very own leprechaun. In an unusual twist, we start this guy off with his nose! Let’s see what your leprechaun looks like when you’re done working with this video!

If you aren’t up for a whole leprechaun, you can give a Leprechaun hat or a four-leaf clover a try! These are simpler drawings great for younger artists in your family! Four leaf clovers are considered lucky because they are rare. They are also said to bring good luck and fortune to those who find them. There is a lot of history and folklore surrounding four leaf clovers, and they have been used in many different cultures for good luck charms. Whether or not you believe in the power of four leaf clovers, it's fun to try and find one! So you can stop wasting time looking for this rarity and have your child draw their own.

Have you ever wondered why there's a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow? Some people believe that it's because leprechauns put them there, while others think that it's simply a metaphor for good luck. No matter what your belief is, there's no arguing that rainbows are beautiful things to behold. So if you are looking for a little extra luck, start drawing your own with Tupperberry’s rainbow and pot of gold.
