How To Draw a Fun Little Penguin

How do you get this little guy to waddle its way onto your paper? This little penguin is just waiting to swim into your blank paper and splash out some color! Follow this step by step instructional drawing lesson designed for kids 5 years and up. All you need is basic art supplies to get started and have fun learning how to draw characters.

It’s important for little artists to learn to break everything down into basic shapes. When we can see objects in their simplest forms, this helps us create the shapes me want. Then add details, shading and dimension and our objects will start to improve and look way more interesting! Try this penguin today. He’s made up of a lot of ovals but when you color, add grey on the white and white on the black to create shading.

Get creative and add your own fun background!
